What in the heavens was the second act aka scene two of this movie about?

Because the plot twist just off me mehn lmao!

How did the movie go from being about a woman who wanted to show that she could reinvent her life as a woman, regardless of limiting obstacles, to finding out that the Vice President of the company that hired her based on a fake resume, was her daughter?

Even this my writeup doesn’t make sense, that’s how best I can explain that the storyline of the movie no just connect. Sigh.

And no I am no being a sadist, but the movie legit had me questioning and wondering how hid we get here?🤦🏾‍♀️

I don’t even think the movie can answer it, because it looked like a series or lifetime movie.

And I’m not even also sure how from the beginning, JLo’s character managed to still look rich for the average character role she was supposed to portray.

The Second Act really tried to be 2018 kind of deep and but it leaves you wondering where all the deepness went to.

Like I feel bad that the movie wanted to be something, but ended up being what I don’t know and very forgetable… sighs.☹

It just felt too scripted, too unfunny, predictable, and not original, almost zero chemistry between the characters, except to a small extent the chemistry between Jlo and her closest friend, and her fiancee (tiny chemistry at the beginning)

Asides that, bleh.

Not even the chemistry between her and her lost but found daughter in the movie could save Chemistry classes.

Also, is it just me? Or the character role is/was a stereotypical role for JLO?

Anyway, laslas, the only thing that stopped me from discontinuing the movie, was me truetrue.😐

At least I got something out of the movie. (If you’ve watched the movie, that’s when this line will make sense to you sorry Lol)

Anyway, have you seen Second Act?

What did you think?
